Analyst, Underwriting & Portfolio Management

The Underwriting and Portfolio Management organization is responsible for working with internal partners to underwrite new transactions and manage the existing portfolio of loans. Our Underwriters and Portfolio Managers balance supporting the Commercial's Bank's growth and ensuring we have a scalable, well-managed business. This role supports the Institutional Specialties Secured line of business.

Institutional Specialties Secured portfolio includes structured CRE products and credit facilities secured by portfolios to Real Estate Investment Funds ("REIFs") and Real Estate Investment Trusts ("REITs").

As an Analyst, Underwriting & Portfolio Management, you have oversight from more experienced members of the team, but contribute to transactions in a meaningful way. This particular position would help support a sub-segment of this portfolio including master repurchase agreements (MRA) and note on note products.

Primary portfolio responsibilities may include :

• Demonstrate ownership of a portfolio of existing customers with minimal guidance
  
• Serve as single point of contact for data updates associated with the debt fund reporting portal (Debt Fund Book) including reviewing and inputting new advances and payoffs
  
• Maintain the CLO Pricing Database
  
• Assist Asset Managers and Relationship Managers with general portfolio information requests
  
• Ensure portfolio data is accurate, timely, and complete to ensure strong quality and reporting capabilities
  
• Maintain internal reports prepared for regulatory compliance reporting and monitoring internal CRE limits.
  
• Respond to requests from internal audit and compliance
  
• Interface with clients to obtain updated loan information and underlying loan documents
  
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures for existing accounts
  
• Create and manage a tracking system for third party reports
  
• Interface with internal loan operations, external counsel, and third-party custodians with respect to the transfer collateral
  

Additional Responsibilities may include :

• Participate in internal initiatives to ensure the business is well-managed and operates efficiently
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields
  
• At least 1 year of experience in financial statement analysis
  
• At least 1 year of experience in financial modeling
  
• Previous experience in portfolio management
  
• Completed coursework or training in credit risk management
