Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst for our Leadership and Compensation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Senior Compensation Analyst you will:
• Be responsible for analysis of salary survey information, comparison of jobs, and managing associated data and records.
• Complete salary surveys, interpret data, examine predictors to market changes and administer the compensation structure.
• Analyzes jobs through the job evaluation process to ensure internal equity of positions across job families and grade levels. Identifies internal comparisons; recommends grade and salary changes.
• Interviews managers and incumbents to obtain position information.
• Collects and compiles salary data, identifies benchmarks, and converts raw collected job data into comparable metrics as needed to accurately compare jobs that may originally not be exact matches to establish a commonality for comparison.
• Creates, modifies, and updates spreadsheets and other electronic media to help illustrate recommendations, trends, and a variety of market data.
• Maintains HCM data integrity through workflow analysis and quality assurance; conducts audits to ensure accuracy and consistency; assists with projects such as mass system changes, audits, and reporting.
• Audits job information provided on job descriptions and audits pay practices when issues identified to assure compliance with Federal and State applicable rules. Responds to any audit from Department of Labor for compliance of FLSA.
• Reviews all requests for job changes (promotions, equity, demotions). • Recommends appropriate action to HRBP/department head on salary grade assignment
• Participate in multiple salary surveys; Maintains and optimizes the online market-pricing tool (Payfactors) by monitoring integrations, resolving data issues, and managing vendor relationships
• Provides analytical and project management support on compensation-related projects, i.e. new business acquisitions, conversions systems, and system-wide initiatives.
• Advises on best practices throughout the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years professional HR experience, with compensation focus.
PHR, SHRM-CP or CCP a plus
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel
• Ability to manage confidential data professionally
• Strong attention to detail, analytical acumen
• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines; proven work ethic
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and timely
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices, including FLSA
• Continual learner and improvement mindset
Work Schedule:
Full Time, Day Shift, 8:30am to 5:00pm M-F
