A new Assisted Living Facility, located in DC is seeking a LPN to distribute medication to elderly individuals. This is a long-term contract opportunity and the hours are 3pm - 11pm Monday-Friday and every other weekend.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares, administers and records medications in accordance with facility policy
- Pushes a medicine cart between 5 floors on an elevator
- Monitors and records temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores,
giving enemas or douches, catheterizations, etc. - Sterilizes equipment and supplies as needed
- Collects samples such as blood, urine and sputum, and performs routine laboratory tests on
samples - Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in residents' conditions
- Provides input for the development of individualized care plans and implements accordingly
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered DC LPN License
- Ability to push a 50lb medicine cart
- Must be able to complete a DC Dept of Health - Health Certificate
- Experience working with a senior population
- Comfortable working 3pm-11pm on a regular basis
- Covid 19 Vaccinations & Boosters
- Current CPR or BLS
- Current immunizations including MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDAP, and Flu Shot
- Current PPD (within last 8 months) or Chest X-Ray within past 3 years or Quantiferon within last 8 months
- Experience using an EMR and Outlook
