ATM Operations Project Manager, Associate

The Capital One ATM Operations MAC (Move, Add, Change) team is looking for a well-qualified Project Manager to support an evolving ATM strategy. Capital One currently offers approximately 2000 ATMs within its national banking footprint with plans to modernize the ATM fleet. As Capital One transforms its physical presence across branches, consumer and café markets, the ATM will continue to play a larger role in meeting customer transaction needs.

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, project professional who excels in a team environment. This person will have excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills, along with the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. A key to success in the position is the ability to manage multiple ATM projects at a given time with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross functional ATM projects, defining and managing schedules ensuring successful delivery that aligns with the business goals
  • Understand overarching ATM MAC & ATM operations processes in order to identify process improvements and/or identify gaps within existing processes
  • Maintain data quality accuracy on all project management activities, and any/all other required outputs
  • Maintain up to date & accurate project information
  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate ATM activity risks
  • Co-manage key stakeholders to effectively manage & drive projects to completion
  • Manage and communicate with 3rd party vendors to plan and implement projects, including ATM riggers, security, cash, OEM vendors
  • Communicate effectively with Branch & Café Care staff with a client first approach
  • Partner effectively with construction teams as necessary where construction is required for ATM project activities
  • Support downstream/back office submissions necessary for successful activities


The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Exhibit solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience using Excel and Google Sheets for analytical purposes
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and/or data network functionality


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management
  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management
  • At least 2 years of experience working with ATMs


Work at Home Technology Requirements:
  • A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
  • A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use cellular data (hot spot)
    • Cable or fiber connections are preferred
    • Internet service download speeds must be at least 5 mbps, with 10+ mbps preferred - check your download speed using a speed test. A sample one can be found here . To test your home internet from your personal computer at home, type www.speedtest.net into the web browser of your personal computer.
    • Sustained ability to maintain latency less than 250 ms in voice calls is required
  • Hard wired connectivity is preferred, any use of wireless connectivity must be Private (non-public) and password protected through WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption. If you have any questions about your encryption, please consult with your internet provider
    • A private network is password protected where you have ownership or line of site to every device on the network
  • Capital One reserves the right to request proof of internet provider, speed and service package from the associate
  • Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology are delivered. Capital One reserves the right to modify internet service requirements with sixty (60) days notice.


Candidates must live within approximately 100 miles driving distance of Richmond, VA (23060) and be comfortable coming in person whenever required with no less than 24 hours notice.
