Job Summary

As the Documentation Manager, reporting to the Director of Customer Enablement, you own the creation and maintenance of all client facing technical documentation. You will work with internal stakeholders to provide clients and partners with the highest quality technical and user experience documentation to resolve their technical and business questions. You will be responsible for 360 impact analysis for new features and products on existing documentation and creating updates to all impacted documents.

Responsibilities
  • Manage planned documentation releases in conjunction with software releases
  • Write, update, and maintain content in an easily accessible format with consistent tone, style, and metadata tagging
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the documentation center based on industry best practices and client feedback
  • Work with product and platform stakeholders to determine the best way to document and present new and updated features
  • Manage multiple updates simultaneously by establishing customer priorities and meeting deadlines consistently
  • Develop positive working relationship with all teams to ensure easy communication and regular check ins on timelines and roadmaps


Qualifications

A successful candidate should have:
  • BA in English, Writing, Communication or related field
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years experience in technical writing or related fields
  • Exceptional critical thinking, judgment, time management, collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to use a consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholders
  • Experience in SAAS product or platform teams, particularly in documentation creation and management
