Associate Project Manager, Audit Practices

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Associate to join the Audit HQ team to support oversight of team operations and help optimize processes across the team. Audit HQ in a horizontal function that consists of
  • Audit Practices, the team that is responsible for setting and monitoring adherence to Audit methodology
  • Well Managed, the team that is responsible for Audit operations and reporting
  • Dynamic Audit Resource Team (DART), an internal staff augmentation team that consists of experienced auditors of who are available for rapid deployment across the department
  • Analytics and Innovation, an internal support team consisting data analysts and data scientists who provide support for audit delivery and a product team who partners with Tech Engineering and Design to develop and maintain products for Auditors


General Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the Audit HQ COO in managing the AuditHQ operations including (but not limited to):
    • Facilitate project management responsibilities for the Data Forward Assurance approach
    • Supporting project management, change management, and monitoring of Audit HQ operations to ensure we remain well-managed and consistent in our processes
    • Facilitating communication between Audit HQ and key stakeholders
    • Coordinating of trainings offered by Audit HQ to the department
    • Collaborating with various Audit HQ Leaders, LOB Audit teams, and support partners on various cross functional efforts
    • Coordinating of activities to promote employee engagement, retention and morale across Audit HQ teams
    • Facilitating the sourcing and onboarding of external resources, as needed
    • Supporting ad-hoc Audit HQ projects and initiatives, as required
    • Other miscellaneous - Audit HQ presentation materials preparation, communications, responding to stakeholder questions, etc.


The person will:
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Adapt to change, embrace bold ideas, and be intellectually curious.
  • Leverage the power of data analytics and further your technical skills to build a rich understanding of data, innovation, and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrate learning agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and openness to new initiatives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management, Risk Management, Process Management, or a combination


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of professional work experience
  • 1+ years experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, compliance, or a combination
  • Proficient in MS Office or Google Suite
  • Experience planning ahead and managing time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Excellent organizational skills
