Partnership CoordinatorGeorge Mason University's Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual for a Partnership Coordinator. George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior Partnership Manager, this position's purpose is to serve as the Partnership Coordinator of open-enrollment and contract offerings provided through CPE, which may be developed either by third-party providers or by Mason academic units. These offerings include professional training, certifications, and for-credit and non-credit courses. Coordinators operate as the support for our partner relationships.The Coordinator supports the Partnership Manager (PM) to fulfill CPE's commitments, and hold our partners accountable for meeting their commitments for open enrollment and contract programs. The Coordinator executes the following functions: registration, classroom management, certificate production, prospective and current student inquires and student transactions. Coordinators help to post, promote and manage the agreed upon schedule, instructor contracts and financial account management. Coordinators play a supporting role in overall marketing campaigns and third party or University contract administration.Required Qualifications:Exemplary communication and customer services skills;Ability to expertly organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy;Advanced use of Microsoft Suite and student registration software;Ability to expertly organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy;Ability to work independently, but also thrive in a team environment with ability to supervise others on administrative tasks.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;Intermediate to advanced level of general office experience, specifically dealing with customer/client service and student related issues;Administrative experience both within an academic office but also with third party vendors/businesses including fiscal management;Proficient organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;Experience in a higher education setting preferred;Experience in providing administrative and fiscal support to complex projects with several contributing factors/influences;Experience working well with peers to produce tangible outcomes.The position is telework friendly but will require up to four days in office each week.
