Systems Administrator - Senior (Lead Virtual Environment)
Summary: The Systems Administrator - Senior (Lead - Virtual Environment) will provide primary and backup server system administration support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform systems administration support for Windows and Linux servers, as well as VMware products.
Work with Database Administrators to perform system analysis for implementation of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
Perform systems backups and recovery procedures. Document procedures for backup and recovery in the systems support document.
Ensure patching and scanning systems have proper access to servers to support vulnerability reporting.
Install IAVAs and SPs on network servers.
Manage IIS or Apache on web servers as required. Keep web servers patched and address all Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Provide Tier II support on server-related issues.
Work with the customer on tracking for annual maintenance support of systems, hardware, and software.
Install and configure operating systems and hardware for server systems.
Manage and lead team of systems administrators.
Manage and maintain documentation on SharePoint.
Manage and support SharePoint migration.
Support PMO office and PM with project deliverables.
Follow all NEC policies, procedures, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain currency in technology and service offerings.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in related field; 6 years directly relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of education; combined total of 12 years for education and experience.
Possess Baseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002.
Must have VMWare certification.
Must have NACLC with Tier 3 investigation
