Summary

NJVC, Inc is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team to be responsible for the integration, operations, and sustainment of various operational and in-development systems. The Scrum Master will manage a team made up of DevOps, systems engineers, systems administrators, and/or deployment engineers tasked to deliver the next generation of Geospatial Intelligence technologies to our customer. The effort will harness GOTS, COTS, and custom technologies to deliver advanced production and dissemination capabilities using desktop, web, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the daily execution of an agile systems team
  • Help define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs
  • Communicate with other Scrum masters, program leadership, customer, and development teams to report on status, blockers, etc.
  • Run agile meetings, like daily scrum, retrospectives, and program increment planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Master's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or Ged and 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Agile Development knowledge and experience
  • Active top secret clearance and the ability to achieve a TS/SCI with CI Poly post hire
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Preferred SAFe Agile Certification
  • Preferred experience as a Scrum Master
  • Preferred Certified Scrum Master
  • Preferred understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies
  • Preferred experience with collaboration tools, including Jira/Confluence and Rocket.Chat
  • Preferred experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsExperience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
