Summary
We are hiring for the position of Instructional Systems Specialist (ISS) Journeyman level. The ISS will support the Naval Air Warfare Center's Sailor 2025 program. In this role, the ISS will team with Navy subject matter experts and other training professionals to deliver performance related training for over 80 Navy job specialty ratings. Using Instructional System Design experiences and the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process, the ISS will evaluate, design, update, and deliver training at the appropriate point in the Sailor's career. The RRL team is critical to the future of Navy training and a successful ISS will have the opportunity to advance within the RRL program as well as within Chenega.

Responsibilities
- Review content at all stages of the development process, from initiation to final completion to provide quality assurance and ensure conformance with contract specifications.
- Maintain courseware lessons that support major military-relatedsystems training.
- Interpret compliance policy and standards for curriculum design and documentation for training conducted.
- Perform training situation analyses and job task analyses to support the functional design and development of
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, which includes at least 24 semester hours appropriate to the work of this position. The course work must have included study in at least 4 of the following 5 areas:
- Learning Theory, Psychology of Learning, Educational Psychology
- Instructional Design Practices
- Educational Evaluation
- Instructional Product Development
- Computers in Education and Training
- 3+ years of practical experience working with the knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of one or more specialties of the instructional systems field
- Top secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain an SCI
- The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences within two (2) hours, as requested.
- Ability to travel locally up to 50%.
- Knowledge of one or more subjects or occupations in which educational training instruction is provided:
- Conduct occupational analysis, Instructional Design activities, Development of Instructional Materials, Training Aids & Devices, Instructional Services, Instructional Program Evaluation, Staff and Faculty Development, or Tests and Measurement.
