For a full description of the College's diverse program offerings, visit http://cehd.gmu.edu/.Responsibilities:In line with the mission of the Office to provide exceptional service, the Office Assistant is responsible for greeting and assessing the needs of all visitors, primarily prospective students, and providing direct support or connecting the visitor with the appropriate professionals at the university. In addition, the Office Assistant will provide general administrative support for the Office, including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, data entry (CRM), supporting hiring processes, and other administrative projects.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;Experience in a customer/client service or support role;Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communications; andDemonstrated ability to learn and consistently apply standard operating procedures and business processes.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with a customer relationship management (TargetX/Salesforce), student information (Banner), and/or other IT system used to support higher education;Experience working in K-12 or higher education; andExperience with licensure procedures.
