Job Summary:

The Performance Marketing Analyst will play a key role in the success and growth of the Performance Managed Account team by working strategically to achieve client goals. This individual with work with internal and client teams to develop and execute results-based campaigns, leveraging the full suite of Washington Post products and services. The ideal candidate will bring an analytical, data-driven approach to campaign strategy. They will also have a deep working knowledge of the media landscape with experience in key tools and platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Campaign strategy
    • Analyze data from several sources to develop integrated media plans that meet client KPIs and budgets with maximum ROI
    • Troubleshoot complex issues and work strategically to develop creative solutions
    • Build strong relationships with clients and other internal teams through effective written, verbal, and visual communication
    • Stay informed on latest industry trends and landscape and communicate key information to internal and client teams
  • Campaign execution and management
    • Manage, optimize, and report on programmatic display campaigns
    • Build and optimize print ad schedules
    • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data, and formulate insights to achieve KPIs
    • Manage client budgets and monitor spend pacing
  • Reporting and analysis
    • Create internal and client facing reporting documents
    • Analyze results and provide strategic insights for campaign optimizations
    • Identify, monitor, and propose ways to improve performance


Qualifications
  • Experience managing digital campaigns in a DSP
  • Experience with Campaign Manager 360 or another ad server
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization (Data Studio a plus)
  • Advertising agency experience preferred
  • Understanding of media metrics and measurement
  • Strategic approach to campaign optimization
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
