Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Chief Radiation Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Chief Radiation Therapist, you will:

• Provide direct daily supervision to the Radiation Therapists' performance
and the treatment delivery process to ensure timely, safe, efficient and cost-
effective patient care.
• Responsible for the overall orientation process for all new therapists.
• Responsible for staff professional development.
• Plans, schedules, and organizes work for group ensuring proper distribution
and delegation of assignments and efficient utilization of personnel.
• Will perform radiation therapy duties and procedures as staffing and
workload dictates
• Responsible for compliance with AHC Quality Assurance, Joint Commission,
ACR accreditation, DMAIC processes, and any other accrediting body.
• Serve as a professional role model and mentor to staff by responding
positively to change while supporting colleagues through the change

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy required
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Radiation Therapist required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Maryland State License in Radiation Therapy
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid BLS certification

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am- 4:30pm

On-Call - weekends and holidays

Occasional weekends
