Editor/Indexer

AGI is seeking a candidate with geoscience education to analyze and index geosciences publications. Reading knowledge of foreign language a plus.

As a Geoscience Editor/Indexer you will be responsible for indexing geoscience publications and editing bibliographic entries for GeoRef and the institute’s other geoscience literature databases. The work requires accuracy and attention to detail. This position will begin as a telework position, with occasional visits to the office required. 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field from an accredited college or university

Reading comprehension and analytical skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Familiarity with scientific/technical publications

Knowledge of a foreign language

Ability to average an acceptable level of productivity based on types of publications and experience (Range from 3 to 5 items per hour
