City and state must be separated by a comma followed by a space (eg, Houston, TX ) By Light Professional IT Services Chief Architect District Of Columbia Apply Now Chief Architect shall review information architecture related law, regulations, policies, guidance, and advise and assist the Government and ARNG with architecture activities for all IS initiatives supporting all tools and capabilities.Advise the Government in the development, analysis, and design of the technical architecture.Recommend the proper placement of management and security tools throughout the infrastructure.Collaborate with and assist the Government in creating, updating, maintaining, and documenting the architecture and corresponding maps of tools, devices, and infrastructure components.Develop and maintain a processing capacity forecast architecture based on projected processing workloads and corresponding storage requirements.Review current ARNG architecture and provide Architecture Enhancement Reports (Section F, Deliverable 31). The reports shall document potential required updates or changes including proposed upgrades to the architecture to address current and anticipated data and processing needs.Participate in and provide recommendations of industry best business practices with ARNG internal and external Enterprise Architecture (EA) working groups.Evaluate emerging applications and devices and recommend additions and upgrades to the architecture.Manage the ARNG EA contents on ARNG SharePoint and make EA contents available and accessible to the authorized users.Make approved IT strategic architecture alignments and improve the quality of data to enhance the ARNG decision-making capability.The contractor shall facilitate meetings with ARNG stakeholders to develop, maintain, and validate compliance with the current Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).Create Diagrams for Transition to Operational Support of new or revised solutions encompassing the entire endA$ cents A' €A' toA$ cents A' €A' end configuration flow diagram describing all solution elementsBachelor's degree requiredExperience with at least three of the following domains: cloud, analytics, data management, infrastructure, access channels, security, applications, software engineering, networking, or systems integration, network security, voice and data networking systems10+ years of IT experience with in Enterprise IT environments including cloud and third party outsourced components3+ years of experience architecting, engineering, supporting or developing enterprise IT solutions in hosted and cloudenvironmentDoD 8570 IAT III Computing Environment certification (Microsoft or Cisco related discipline)By Light does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; vaccination requirements and testing are subject to the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements; testing is at the cost of the employee.Job ID: 2022-7498External Company Name: By Light Professional IT Services LLC
