Subscribe to our RSS feeds to receive instant updates as new positions become available. The SUD Program Director is responsible for developing our new Substance Use Disorder program. This includes developing a curriculum, implementing procedures, updating and/or writing policies etc. The Program Director is also responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the site and daily administrative duties. This position requires the ability to work closely with a diverse group of consumers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, recommend changes in practices or procedures. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision of the Administrative team, and direct staff within SUD Program. Development, implementation and monitoring of systems designed to promote a positive therapeutic milieu. Enforcing company policy statements. Take leadership in creating new policies. Maintaining all licensing standards, accreditations, and credentialing. Ensuring site expenditures remain within budget. Reporting on activities and status of each site. Responsible for quality assurance activities. Ensure QA of all clinical files is complete upon admission, during placement, and upon discharge. Ensure that all pre-employment and on-going competency training and evaluation is completed and documented for direct care staff in accordance with contracted timelines. Ensures all Personnel Files comply with supervision hours for each staff. Develop and prepare individualized treatment plans, programs, and activities on a needed basis. Provide individual, family, and group counseling on a needed basis. Support and Supervise Clinical team to develop the curriculum (eg, sexual behavior problems, reactive attachment disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse, etc). Provide clinical supervision for therapists, direct care staff during weekly, bi-weekly meetings at the residences as needed. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have experience developing a new program from the ground up. Must possess a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in behavioral health. Must have at least five years' experience in the management of behavioral health programs. Familiarity with DataWits software, and experience in SUD program. LICSW, LPC or Psychologist licensed to practice independently in the District of Columbia At least 5 years of professional experience including supervision of other professional
