Job Description Materials Manager Working at Cabinetworks Group provides: 401(k) and company match - no waiting period! Leading, motivating and winning the confidence of a high performing team. Setting safety stock levels of inventory components and finished goods. Determining component delivery schedules to support the build schedule. Communicating with suppliers to assure timely delivery. Reporting and resolving material support concerns daily. Effectively supporting manufacturing by ensuring component availability. Analyzing inventory to maximize turns. Planning for the phase in and phase out of new product introductions and engineering changes to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. Assessing and managing the material requirements planning system to assure consistency; analyzes the causes for inconsistency within the process. Coordinating material planning activity for material with long lead time to eliminate any potential supply interruption and minimize inventory. Managing the Material Planning team. Optimizing inventory value and storage What your background looks like: Bachelor's degree in Business or other related degree or experience. Five or more years of experience managing materials, scheduling, inventory and/or like areas. Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.
