Our multidisciplinary team combines excellence in research with the development of innovative products for the treatment of serious diseases.Director, Total Rewards and OperationsGaithersburg, MDRemote/FlexYour Tasks:As a member of the North America HR team, you will provide functional and subject matter expertise in support of the design and delivery of the company's Total Rewards strategy, and lead the HRIS and HR Compliance capabilities for region. Additionally, you will help develop and execute the overall planning, development, enhancement, and communication of the full suite of rewards that Miltenyi Biotec offers. You will also lead a team in improving our HRIS functionality and modernizing our HR compliance approach.Among other responsibilities, you will:Lead of team of functional experts to implement best practices in compensation, benefits, HRIS and compliance across the organization, developing the team, laying a foundation of trust and transparency, empowering the team and ensuring that deliverables are on time and of high quality.Analyze, design, and administer compensation programs, including job and salary structures, leveling frameworks, base pay and incentive pay, keeping up to date on current market practices and assessing the competitiveness of our overall compensation structure to drive a high-performing culture.Oversee and conduct analysis on internal and external salary statistics to advise and influence leadership on compensation strategy, programs and challenges, including equity practices.Oversee pay increase and bonus processes, partnering with the HR team and leadership.Manage the design, administration, delivery and support of employee benefits programs and related procedures to ensure successful adoption and compliance with all applicable laws.Manage vendor/broker/partner relationships, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, retirement, HRIS and related system, etc.Keep up to date on market trends and assess competitiveness of our benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.Help develop and communicate policies and processes that drive a progressive and compliant HR function, including handbooks, SOPs, and internal team guidance.Stay current with all legal, governmental and regulatory developments in all relevant geographies, ensuring that our policies and processes are modified to reflect any changes and communicating same to the HR team and to all employees.Develop strategies to streamline operational processes and day-to-day inquiries.Assist in the development of impactful benefits-related HR Analytics, including ongoing reporting of dashboards and ad-hoc reports.Ensure programs and processes are documented and compliant with HR strategies, policies and governmental regulations. Ensure benefits-related documentation, supporting materials and communications are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, updated and communicated in a timely manner and compliant with respective plan or governmental regulationsParticipate in the HR leadership team, supporting one another at all times and creatively working together to resolve problems and build trust.Contribute to the HR function regionally and globally, fostering a strong and progressive function that drives the business forward.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Human Resources; minimum of 12 years of experience in HR, with at least 8 in compensation and benefits; minimum of 8 years of people leadership; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Deep expertise in compensation systems, structure, processes and approaches; expertise in multiple HRIS platforms and tools; expertise in HR compliance matters.Strong communicator, both written and verbal; able to influence across functions and stakeholders; pragmatic problem-solver; highly trusted advisor; strong people developer that fosters trust, extends empathy and provides transparency; able to negotiate through conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization; sound judgment and decision-making; ability to work with complex data structures, analyze data and provide recommendations.Please note that this position may require vaccination against COVID-19, unless individual is entitled to reasonable accommodation under applicable law.10% travel required.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
