The entire Valor team works hard to earn the trust of those who have faith in us to care for them with respect and through methods that lead to excellent outcomes.About the RoleThis job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.Federal Program / Behavioral Health Program Director - Washington DC or RemoteThis position serves as the Behavioral Health Program Director (BHPD) managing multiple Occupational Health Center Services. The BHPD shall be the Behavioral Health and Management Oversight (BH&MO) authority in support of the Agency Behavioral Health Point of Contact. The BHPD shall provide BH&MO, within the context of occupational health and safety, and is the on-site or remote behavioral health supervision of any activity that involves behavioral health consultation or treatment to include advice, review, and orders. As the BH&MO Authority, the BHPD shall hold a current state license or certificate to practice at the highest independent level as a behavioral health counselor, consistent with state laws, health policies, training, and quality control activities ensuring that the behavioral health treatment administered, or advice given follows safe practices. The BHPD shall be trained to assist employees with a wide range of behavioral health issues that may be applicable under the usage of an Occupational Behavioral Health Unit. The BHPD may need to be deployed to any site location within 24 hours or up to five days period, based on immediately need at site location.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Support the Client Agency Behavioral Health Point of Contact. Must have minimum of 7 years' experience in relevant field. Must have minimum of 5 years of management experience Must have an unrestricted state license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the US Must have Government healthcare environment experience. Experience of and insight into the Clinical environment to be able to drive major improvement programs. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Experience with MS Office Ability to support all aspects of the project including planning tasks, monitoring progress, and identifying potential issues. Experience in an Adult Outpatient, Inpatient, Ambulatory and/or Emergency Department preferred Ability to adapt to fast-moving environments and changing requirements. Public Trust clearance preferred.Clearance Requirement: Public Trust / High RiskAs this position is categorized as Public Trust / High Risk position, candidates will be subject to appropriate Background Investigation.Job Location: Washington DC or RemoteAs this position will be required to travel to federal government sites, candidate must be residing near a national airport.Travel:No international travel is required.
