We are looking for an experienced PMO Director to lead our project management organization with our nonprofit and association clients. This individual will have demonstrated a track record of building strong consulting organizations and delivering excellent professional services to clients.In this role, you will have the following areas of responsibility:People:Day-to-day personnel Management of Project ManagersCoordinates project manager staffing and utilization with the Resource ManagementCoordinates with personnel managers and Practice LeadsProject Manager hiring, reviews, and professional growthProcess:Owns project management process and overall delivery methodology with input from other areasOwns PMO KPI definition and monitoring, including utilizationInvoice and nonbill approvalsToolsOwns project management tools and adoptionCustomersAssists practice leads with account managementContributes to client satisfaction along with the rest of the delivery teamAs a member of our delivery leadership team:You have worked on a wide variety of projects: You have collaborated with technical and non-technical team members to complete projects of a variety of sizes and levels of complexity. You have successfully completed several enterprise-class project with a budget of at least $1MYou have a strong understanding of project management tools and processes: You have a project management certification or are working to earn one You are familiar with project management and SDLC processes, and have authored PM processes You have used, and preferably implemented, project management toolsYou know Salesforce: You might not be a hands-on build consultant, but you know Salesforce well enough to review estimates and provide guidance to project managers.You know change management: You've worked with a couple of different change management frameworks, and know what works and what doesn't.You are a strong personnel manager and servant leader: You are an advocate for project managers and have experience mentoring and promoting leaders.You are adaptable: The idea of working for an organization that is growing in size and maturity excites you.You have embraced the nonprofit mission: You know the nonprofit world very well, and you"re able to understand and empathize with client struggles and help identify solutions to their challenges.You are a critical thinker: You don"t need to be told how to get from point A to point B.
