Responsibilities: As a Claims Representative you'll have an integral role responsible for the investigation, evaluation, mitigation and resolution of an inventory of medical only and low-to-moderate complexity lost time workers' compensation claims in multiple jurisdictions. You'll report to a Team Lead and work with supportive colleagues to help injured workers and policy holders verify coverage and determine compensability and benefits due to them. Your coordination and active management of medical treatment of injured workers will help ensure their timely rehabilitation. You'll be able to utilize your analytical skills to calculate and set timely financial reserves and proactively manage reserve adequacy throughout claim lifecycle. You'll be given the autonomy to negotiate and settle claims with injured workers and attorneys.
