**Description:**Aerotek Aviation is currently seeking A Mechanics to join their team in Hagerstown, MD. During any down time, the A mechanic will bounce around to support the sheet metal mechanics, avionics technicians or quality team.-The Licensed A & P Mechanic performs scheduled maintenance, makes repairs, and completes inspections required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).-Perform general modification work as necessary.-Inspecting engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems-Repair sheet metal or composite surfaces, measure the tension of control cables, and check for corrosion, distortion, and cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail.**Skills:**c check, d check, A, A mechanic, A license, King air, c-12, c12, depot, heavy maintenance, c checks, d checks**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**-4+ years experience on aircraft modification, install, and troubleshooting experience.-Must be eligible for clearance (active clearance is preferred)-Ability to take initiative and work with very little supervision-Part 145 experience**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
