What will I be doing? The Manager Diversity Recruitment & Engagement supports the strategic recruiting pipelines and program initiatives that advance Hilton's diversity priorities. This key role serves as one of the SMEs for diversity initiatives across the North American recruitment teams. You will serve as our lead diversity recruiting brand ambassador at events and conferences while liaising with key organizations to develop important relationships and effective programs that support our diversity recruitment goals and objectives. More specifically, this manager will: Oversee the planning and participation in virtual and in-person diversity recruitment events, and own key recruiting-related outcomes from each event Present as the Hilton representative at various recruiting and partner events Manage the calendar of recruiting events for diversity and pathways partnerships ensuring efficiencies in budgets and supporting team members Analyze and create reporting around ROI of each event and partnership for quarterly and yearly reports Assist Senior Manager, Programs & Engagement, with developing strategies and communications for diversity recruitment Serve as the SME for highly visible strategic projects across the broader recruitment enterprise, including driving standard methodologies in diversity sourcing Manage and improve delivery processes from beginning to end for diversity and pathways programs and engagement activations Collaborate with recruitment marketing teams to create virtual career fair booths, internal/external promotional materials, internal/external information sessions, and drip campaigns ensuring brand standards Remain current with EEO and diversity-related laws, regulations, and policies What are we looking for? Recruiting a more diverse workforce requires an independent, adaptable, and highly motivated take-charge individual deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives (DEI). We are seeking someone passionate about networking and sourcing for hidden talent through creative means. The ideal candidate supports targeting recruitment activities and programs to under-represented populations and demonstrates an over-the-top commitment by serving as a diversity recruitment brand ambassador! The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Self-starters who take the initiative with minimal direction and understand concepts quickly Problem-solving skills to effectively and creatively find solutions for hard problems while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity Proven communicator skilled in written presentation and public speaking Accountable individual with a commitment to communicating results and recommending improvements To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Five (5) years in events management and/or program management Two (2) years of managerial experience One (1) year role with public speaking experiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams Travel up to 30% of the time It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Four (4) years coordinating large group events or serving in a diversity and inclusion role Experience with HR or recruiting processes and CRM systems What is it like working for Hilton?
