Position Summary: MAG Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Electronic Warfare & Cyber program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Procurement Specialist will participate in the formulation, justification, and execution of contracts and acquisition documentation. This is for an awarded contract with immediate staffing requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to:Plan and develop documentation for contract actions, milestone decisions, and reviewsAssist in developing obligation plans, P Forms, Weapon System Reviews, and Program Objective MemorandumProvide advice for program/budget scheduling and planning, including preparing recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, and resource requirementsAssist government clients in managing contract actions, contract strategy planning, and coordinating contracting schedulesDevelopment of Acquisition Requirements Package (ARP) / Request for Services Contract Approval (RSCA) documentation for future contracts, Task Orders, Delivery Orders and Other Transactional Authority (OTA) as well as supporting Justifications/Approvals (J) package developmentCoordinate schedules/time-line requirements with the PM, PEO and ACC to ensure future contract actions will be awarded in time to support Program requirements Requirements: Minimum Requirements:Progressive experience in the DoD 5000 acquisition process, supporting the development and implementation of contracts and all acquisition related documentationKnowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of federal contracting and the DoD 5000 acquisition processFamiliarity with the Procurement Planning Management Tool (PPMT), contract documentation requirements, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) as well as service focused contracts, Other Transactional Authority (OTA) contract vehicles and experience with Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) Education:The minimum level of education required is: BS in Business or IT. 4 years of additional experience can be considered for equivalency Clearance:Must currently possess a Secret Clearance Desired RequirementsExperience as government or SETA within a program management office for the acquisition of EW or other tactical C4ISR programsExcellent interpersonal skills, to including the ability to work on multi-functional teams Other QualificationsPhysical requirements for the job include: Ability to work within an office environment Special Note:The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.Government or customer site-specific requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.
