CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. RESPONSIBILITIES : Key Job FunctionsLead delivery of accounting tasks and projectsSupport various aspects of our accounting and reporting process.Execute judgments to keep processes moving and ensure the right decisions are reached to close the books each month.Escalating risks and issues as necessary to leadershipUnderstanding of internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and to design new processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.Ability to identify process improvements and automation opportunities to drive positive changeEnd-to-End process ownership to support accounting and business partners.Liaise with both external and internal auditors to facilitate audit.Reviewing work of staff accountants, provide coaching and feedback. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experiences Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Operational accounting experience in corporate setting for two or more yearsExperience with researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
