For me, that's a big breath of fresh air."- Sunrise Leader Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the CSO Human Resource Director is responsible for providing general human resource services and programs to team members at the CSO including corporate leaders, and direct reports to the COO. This is the top HR Business partner for our Community Support Office. This role is also responsible for all CSO office services. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS: Responsibilities:As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed below: Supervise the CSO Office Support team members and HR Generalist team.Interfaces with corporate leadership to provide advice and counsel on team member relations issues and to provide or coordinate human resource team member support leveraging the greater cross functional HR department.Conducts investigations as needed in response to team member relations issuesComplies with federal, state and Sunrise standards pertaining to employment lawsTakes positive actions to ensure equal opportunity in the conduct of all business activities without regard to race, creed, age, sex or national originEnsures current federal and state postings and pamphlets are posted accordingly at the CSO and on Team Link for Regional LeadersHandles timely distribution and implementation of new legislation and company policy at the CSOPrepare and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to team member personnel information and data, including but not limited to issues such as turnover, retention, leave of absence (LOA), performance appraisals, and recruitment. Effectively utilize the data processing system to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data and informationOversight of compliance, including regulatory requirements, and documentation to work in USConduct regular scheduled virtual audits via reporting systems and internal tracking programsManages the process of worker's compensation claims at the CSO level to expedite return to work, and closure of claimsPromote positive team member relations at the CSO levelPartners with CSO leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies; monitors adherence to safety rules and regulations and recommends remedial action as appropriateAssist in recruiting, interviewing and attending job fairs as appropriate. Establish new partnerships with potential resources for front line and healthcare talent throughout the region.Support exit interview process as appropriate.Assists with the resolution of escalated payroll and benefit related issues or questions promptly Partners in the delivery and participation in Sunrise University Training and self-study programs during the required timeframe Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience7 plus years of human resource generalist experience in progressive HR role, preferably in senior care, healthcare or hospitality industriesDemonstrated knowledge in Federal and State employment labor lawsProven ability to handle highly confidential information and manage information with utmost integrityDemonstrated effective interpersonal skills when working with othersAbility to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentationsCompetent in organizational, time management skills, problem solving and decision-making skillsDemonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applicationsAbility to work on call rotations that might include weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to be available for our customers.Sunrise maintains a safe and drug-free work environment and all offers of employment with Sunrise are conditioned on submitting to and successfully completing and passing a background check and drug test.
