You have shown the ability to work on multiple projects and complete them on time and on budget. You are a self-starter, who can both lead others and roll up your sleeves and get work done. You are a good writer, have an eye for design and flat out know how to make a brand look great. Primary Objective:Responsible for overseeing the development of Mariners advertising campaigns from concept to delivery using internal and external resources. Lead creation and execution of multiple assets for several departments and initiatives throughout the organization. Strategic Responsibilities:Serve as a strategic leader, seeking new, improved, and innovative ways to support the Mariners brand and oversee distribution of the creative process across all touch points, ensuring consistency of message, graphics, and voice, with the ultimate goal to support company efforts, grow the business, and increase organizational effectiveness.Ensure Marketing Department initiatives are in alignment with Company Mission, Purpose and Core Values. Major Responsibilities and Duties Which May Be Considered Essential:Provide strong people leadership; implement strategies to effectively manage Team Members and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of department"s people resources.Train, evaluate performance, and foster growth and development of Team Members, encouraging personal and professional development.Collaborate with Vice President, Marketing, Director, Strategic Marketing & Sales, and Director, Digital Marketing & Social Media, to ensure department"s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals, and objectives are met. Develop creative and messaging for all Mariners advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including but not limited to broadcast, digital, print and outdoor.Oversee creative approval process with Marketing and Production teams.Oversee production of advertising messages using internal and external resources. Manage production, talent, and freelance resources related to creating advertising including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and payments.Build systems and processes to ensure proper specs, tagging, and trafficking of all ads. Manage in-house advertising and production trade agreements. Oversee messaging, scheduling, and trafficking of Mariners broadcast TV & radio ads, promotional copy, and graphics.Manage ancillary marketing messaging opportunities. Develop and execute, with help of Marketing & Experiential Marketing teams, additional opportunities to promote Mariners Baseball outside of paid advertising efforts.Help create internal collateral and sales materials. Collaborate with Marketing leadership team to develop advertising Ensure clear and consistent advertising messaging is distributed throughout to internal and external stakeholders. Support internal departments in marketing and messaging efforts, including Sales, Partnerships, Events, Merchandise, Human Resources, and others. Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Events departments to foster collaboration and internal communication.Manage advertising media and production budgets.Will perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience:Bachelor"s degree required.A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Marketing or Advertising required and a minimum of five (5) years of management experience required. Sports and/or advertising agency experience preferred.Knowledge of baseball preferred. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):Strong writing, editing and oral communication skills, attention to detail and ability to consistently produce error-free work.Possess the ability to synthesize dense and/or complicated materials into creative, clear, and effective communications to a variety of audiences. Proven track record concepting and executing creative content.Shares and expresses thoughts in a clear and effective manner through verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits effective listening skills and builds positive relationships with all team members, vendors and guests.
