We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our team. As CMO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and leading our Americas Marketing team. This role will work alongside the regional Americas President, Chief People Officer, and Chief Growth Officer on a consistent basis, and be part of the Americas executive leadership team. The Americas CMO will: Manage the Americas marketing team; develop and own the regional marketing plan for the Americas; plan, implement and manage marketing strategies & programs for our key audiences: current and prospective clients, employees, and CX talent across the industry Contribute regional perspective to overall Global brand and narrative; collaborate with marketing colleagues in EMEA and APAC to align and amplify global marketing impact and business growth Partner with Global and Americas leadership teams to evolve and refine our go-to-market narrative and value proposition Collaborate with the global marketing function to align with and inform the evolution of all content, branding, and global/regional processes and best practices Manage CXO-level relationships with strong business acumen, relationship management, and strategic advisory skills Lead a team of cross-functional marketing professionals, in collaboration with growth and practice area teams, to define marketing plans encompassing campaigns, events, trade sponsorships, PR, AR, awards, content development and thought leadership Continually evaluate market trends and demand for customer experience services; develop programs to support client expansion and new business pipeline Partner with HR, DEI, and other executive functions to provide marketing support for functional communications programs and employee feedback Manage the internal communications function for Merkle Americas; streamline existing and develop new communications programs to build our employer brand, increase talent engagement and enhance the employee experience Establish and deepen relationships with key dentsu and technology alliance partners to unlock incremental marketing and growth opportunities for Merkle Develop strong cross-agency relationships within dentsu Americas to facilitate collaboration and identify opportunities for marketing synergies across the network Review and manage thought leadership, content marketing, and online channel strategy and execution (eg web, email, social, etc.) A' .Define marketing KPIs and set objectives across growth, capabilities, and verticals; establish cadence of regular reporting; leverage metrics and insights to support evidence-based, data-driven decisions and optimizations Develop a framework and methodology for ongoing measurement and tracking of brand strength (awareness, reputation, association, positioning vs. competitors, etc.) in the Americas Manage the Americas marketing budget, operating within established parameters with an eye towards maximizing ROI
