Job Description MileOne Autogroup is seeking an experienced, innovative, and strategic Chief Marketing Officer to join our executive leadership team at our corporate office in Towson, MD. The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for all areas of marketing and advertising for our 80+ dealerships. This includes overseeing an in-house team of 26 seasoned professionals across all marketing disciplines including creative, digital and traditional media, business intelligence, communications, and operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, develop and successfully execute MileOne"s marketing and advertising plan. Foster a thriving and collaborative team dynamic through mentorship and engaged leadership. Establish and clearly communicate marketing goals and strategies. Clearly define roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies. Ensure brand consistency in terms of creative and messaging across all communication channels. Build trusted partnerships with C-Suite executives, dealership management teams, and external vendors. Develop and manage marketing program budgets; measure and optimize marketing programs to ensure activities are effective, efficient, and deliver high ROI. Introduce innovative marketing technology capabilities in support of business objectives. Provide support for Human Resources, Recruitment and Retention, and Philanthropic programs including community outreach programs. Create efficiencies through data analysis and process improvement. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a highly effective senior marketing leader. Extensive knowledge of various marketing disciplines including but not limited to branding, design, SEM, SEO, email marketing, social media, and marketing automation. Proven experience with building highly motivated teams. An effective leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrable experience in developing and executing cost-effective lead-generation strategies within the B2C digital and traditional marketing space. Ability to understand the changing market dynamics of the automotive industry, translating them into actionable insights and implementing the required strategies in support of organizational objectives. In-depth understanding of various marketing KPIs including advertising cost-per response and cost per transaction. Ability to interpret sophisticated attribution data and evaluate effectiveness of an omni-channel marketing program. Experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets across multiple departments, delivering financial reports, and setting up effective metrics and business processes. Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry preferred. Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects and function effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
