Overview: Aston Carter has an immediate opening for a Email Marketing Specialist at the corporate office in Hanover, MD. We are seeking a sharp and innovative digital marketing specialist who's looking to expand their experience. In this position, you will be required to execute email marketing campaigns, inclusive of building the targeted lists, creation of templates in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and analyzing the results. You will also work with our field team to help strategize and execute tactics to support their needs. To be successful as a digital marketing specialist, you should demonstrate the ability to create campaigns, measure results, and collaborate with partners. Ultimately, an outstanding digital marketing specialist will continue to drive for innovation and stay abreast of industry trends in the market.Responsibilities:Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing CloudProofread and assist with copywriting emails for clarity, grammar, spellingEnsure mobile-friendly email templatesEnsure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribesCreate and maintain email lists for lead generationMonitor and report on success of each campaignProject manage incoming campaign requests to support the fieldConnect with field partners to communicate digital advertising tacticsRequirements:Degree in marketing, management, advertising, communications, or equivalent work experienceProven experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaignsPrior marketing automation experience, preferably in a similar roleFamiliarity with pertinent automation and performance evaluation softwareExcellent project management skills specific to marketingDemonstrated ability to cross-collaborate with multiple teamsExperience with analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics or TableauExperience with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or PardotWillingness to work extended hours to ensure that projects are completed, as neededStrong written and verbal communication skills
