Project Manager National Veterans Training Support
Position Description: Serco is seeking a remote Full-Time Training Project Leader II for a federal Government Customer. This position is in support of a proposal and contingent upon contract award. You will be part of a large, geographically dispersed team that works closely with Serco senior leadership, the government customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality services to the military veteran programs. The roles and responsibilities of the Project Leader II include, but are not limited to supporting the program, team, and stakeholders on a routine basis by: Managing communication with project team on a routine basis to include communicating schedules, deadlines, changes to program, new courses in development, etc.Preparing plans, schedules, and ensuring that all project activities meet government guidance and requirements within predetermined timeframes.Tracking project expenses and activities and generating and analyzing reports of same.Performing oversight of the Project and the Quality Control Plan (QCP).Monitoring travel and facility logistics for training events.Providing continuous process improvement to all facets of the program.Conducting outreach to stakeholders regarding availability of resources and information. The Project Leader works under the supervision of the Serco Project Manager to manage all aspects for successful implementation of tasks. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree and at least four (4) years of experience in project management or education/coursework in project management.Experience in adult education programs and multi?year projects.Familiar with veterans' programs, federal grants management, and veteran workforce related fields.Experience in planning and implementing program and project team objectives, meeting project milestones, and communicating project status verbally and in writing.TECHNICAL and CORE COMPETENCIES INCLUDE:Experience and basic knowledge of policies and procedures when working on federal Government contracts.Excellent communication skills and strong expertise with contract management.Demonstrated ability to present complex information clearly.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills, facilitation, interpersonal and client interaction skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
