The contractor shall:(1) Work with the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) Division of Intramural Research (DIR) Training Director to support, promote, and provide oversight of NIDCD training and fellowship programs(2) Develop, coordinate, and perform NIDCD trainee-related web updates and develop resources to advertise events and programs(3) Interact with Training Directors/program specialists at other NIH Institutes/Center and NIDCD scientific faculty/staff/trainees to ensure that NIDCD programming is operating at a high level and in line with current NIH policies(4) Create analytical tools and surveys to evaluate program elements that will assist in planning for future activities, present data to the NIDCD Training Director for discussion(5) Analyze existing data and trends from NIDCD training and fellowship program data and create presentations for senior leadership(6) Advise on, develop, and execute on NIDCD trainee- and mentoring-focused workshops, retreats, and courses, including the annual NIDCD DIR Retreat, NIDCD's annual week-long EARssentials course, an adapted version of CIMER's Entering Mentoring, and the Summer Student Seminar Series. Attend and analyze existing NIH programming to look for gaps that should be developed and filled by NIDCD DIR.(7) Assist in management and support of NIDCD summer interns, assist with meetings, agendas, and schedules, and respond to inquiries(8) Work with NIH staff to coordinate NIDCD participation in central trainee programs, including but not limited to the NIH Postbac Enrichment Program (PEP), the NIH Summer Internship Program subprograms, the NIH Summer Research Mentor Awards, and the NIH Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP)(9) Develop and implement NIDCD trainee recruitment plan, including but not limited to initiatives at conferences, graduate fairs, and with Howard University staff through the NIDCD-Howard partnership program(10) Serve on NIDCD trainee-related and inclusion-related committees; serve as discussion facilitator and liaisonREQUIREMENTS.
