To that end, Troon, the global leader in golf, club and club related hospitality management is pleased to share the career opportunity of Director of Digital Marketing.The Director of Digital Marketing will be a key leader in the Troon's Sales & Marketing team bringing a specialized skill for top-notch marketing management and execution at an elevated professional level. This position will work closely with the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Operational leaders of the company to ensure all digital marketing strategies and programs are well-planned, flawlessly executed, expertly analyzed, with tracked results that deliver exponential ROI.The Digital Marketing Director will refine and manage an industry-leading team that will is responsible for social media execution, website design and optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), e-commerce, audience development, customer surveys and online reputation. The team's objectives are to increase website traffic, grow digital channel mix and conversion, improve customer experience, engagement and online reputation, and maximize ROI from digital initiatives.Ideal candidates have comprehensive experience in uncovering, presenting and execution of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive additional reach and results.The ideal candidate will have flexible schedules with the ability to work proactively and independently, as needed. This includes competitive compensation starting at:Essential Duties:Oversight of and execution with the company digital team charged with digital/new media (to include, but not limited to, social media management and execution, website design and optimization, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, app strategy/deployment/marketing, eCommerce, audience development, email marketing/database development and video)Define strategies to optimize website/digital reach to improve facility and company results, online sales, online tee time activation and enhance product roadmapDirect implementation of corporate digital marketing campaigns and process management of facility marketing processes executionDirect and supervise digital team, along with administration of proprietary self-publishing company marketing toolsBringing new strategic ideas for digital marketing and to capture new market share and support course marketing execution, while build our clients brands and building the brand of Troon. Closely watching consumer trends and then pivoting and presenting opportunities to garner increased market share (with a goal to drive our clients business and drive the company forward)Creating and implementing creative new paths for digital / digital marketing for our company and proactively presenting new ways to build our clients and Troon brandsWork closely with partners and other departments to create technology best practices and infrastructure to support enterprise marketing tools and capabilitiesDevelop insights for all digital activity and present results effectively to stakeholders, clients, regional marketing/operational teams and managementEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree (BA)At least five years' experience in digital marketing, including social media, e-commerce, marketing analytics, project management, search engine marketing, website development and optimizationAdvanced social media skills are required along advanced knowledge of ecommerce best practices, web performance tracking and analytics, social media, search engine optimization and paid searchProven track record of success in building and motivating a high-performance teamExperience creating and presenting KPIs, reports and dashboards for senior executivesProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept development through to executionAbility to manage marketing support personnel and establish priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperienced and capable of managing process change and new product launchPossess solid business acumen and is accustomed to financial accountabilityExecute and measure digital marketing strategies, with an emphasis on resultsProven ability to create and communicate presentations to internal stakeholders, external clients and potential new clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyUnderstanding, if not passionate about, the golf and/or hospitality industry is a plusJob Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:Exceptional organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects dailyAbility to work independently with no supervisionTravel may be required for this positionThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
