This role will oversee accounting for the firm's private equity clients as well as managing transactional accounting issues including, dispositions, sales and other investment actions. This role will oversee a team and will report to the CFO. Summary of essential job functionsResponsible for accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clientsReviewing client financial statements, partner capital statements and other required financial reportingProviding technical accounting/industry knowledge to our clientsCoordinating, managing and monitoring the external audit processCreate and review partner capital calls, monthly and quarterly partner capital statements including calculation of partner allocationsCalculate and review waterfall models, distribution notices, and management feesMentor team members by setting objectives and providing performance feedbackManage team's adherence to internal control policies and proceduresAssist in business development, participate in meetings with potential clientsReview partnership agreements in order to determine impact on financial reporting and partner capital accounting requirements.Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financialsMinimum requirementsBachelors degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA/MBA preferred7+ years experience in Accounting/Finance , 3 of which are progressive Private Equity experienceKnowledge of partnership accountingUS GAAP ExpertiseSupervisory experience preferred
