Their novel products treat seizure disorders by reducing the patient's abnormal brain activity. The product features an implantable device and ongoing patient monitoring and personalized treatment. They've successfully launched their first product and have multiple new indications and product launches coming up in the next few years.In this role, you'll drive upstream marketing and new product development for a high-growth product that treats seizure disorders. The company is small and growing quickly, with strong double-digit year over year growth predicted each of the next few years. This role will involve routine exposure with senior leadership, coaching and mentoring opportunities and strong career development. The Opportunity:In this Sr. Product Marketing Manager role, you'll work closely with R&D/engineering to design, develop and launch products. You will own VOC activities, capture physician feedback and create segmentation/positioning. You will also assess and determine unmet needs and build business cases for both new offerings and next gen products. You'll create go-to-market strategies and launch plans for multiple upcoming launches. You'll also work on long-range portfolio strategy to evaluate the technology for other disease states. If you're someone with a technical background who enjoys working cross functionally with engineering, R&D and marketing, this is a good fit role. You'll focus on analytics, forecasting, modelling the market, segmentation and opportunity assessment. You'll work in cross-functional teams with marketing, sales, medical affairs, regulatory and other departments. This role reports into the Sr. Director of Strategy & Marketing; the team is small, the culture rewards innovation and the company is rapidly growing. The hiring manager has a focus on coaching and mentoring and career development is strong in the growing org chart.Qualifications: 4+ years of upstream marketing experience Experience in medical device, ideally implantable/surgical Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar required, MBA strongly preferredThis position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area but can be worked from any Western US location with regular HQ travel.
