The Facilities Manager will direct and coordinate both the facilities and electrical departments at a custom printing and manufacturing company that has been an industry leader for over 90 years. The manager will oversee facilities repair, maintenance, and the supply of spare parts and materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA cents € cents Maintain plant facilities and production across multiple systems including but not limited to: HVAC, roof, air compressors, electrical drives, safety circuits, etc.A cents € cents Develop project scopes and objectives ensuring technical feasibilityA cents € cents Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesA cents € cents Manage the Work Order process which includes the assignment for action, determination ofpriorities, and administrative document requirementsA cents € cents Identify and qualify equipment vendors and contractors when requiredA cents € cents Respond to manufacturing questions in order to improve current processes and/or make repairs to equipment. A cents € cents Fix problems personally, delegate the responsibility to direct reports, or otheremployees within the companyA cents € cents Direct supervision of electricians and millwright's day-to-day activities; such as guarding, chutes,welding, pipe fittings, electrical troubleshooting, panel design, electrical integration of equipment,safety circuits, facility lighting, electrical systems, etc.A cents € cents Direct supervision of custodial staff day-to-day activities; such as office, locker room and restroomcleaning; plumbing repairs, tile floor service, etc.A cents € cents Facilitate equipment purchasing and installationA cents € cents Manage technical projects involving multiple pieces of equipment, multiple processes, andpersonnel from different departments and disciplinesA cents € cents Provide recommendations to the Technical Manager for the efficient and orderly replacement ofequipmentA cents € cents Responsible for Lockout/Tagout Policy ManualA cents € cents Responsible for the approval for all Company individual equipment Lockout/Tagout booklets with100% accuracyA cents € cents Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing workA cents € cents Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONSA cents € cents Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at one timeA cents € cents Ability to communicate effectively and deal with problems in a sensitive, sensible, and organizedmannerA cents € cents Computer literateA cents € cents Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university;A cents € cents minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience or at least 5 plus years relevant experience.A cents € cents Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. A cents € cents Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.A cents € cents Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fundamentals of solid geometry, and trigonometry.
