Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, this position will play a senior role on the Marketing team where s/he will oversee our website content, paid search, and CRM strategies; be expected to learn new software and applications, then design strategies and tactics to make best use of this technology in our overall student recruitment effort. A' . The Director of Digital Marketing will also be responsible for developing strong working relationships with internal partners and external agencies.A' . Client offers graduate programs in professional and liberal studies, 30+ certificate programs, and custom and corporate training and education. We've been growing for half a century and just graduated our largest class yet (1,600+ students).A' . Digital Marketing Strategy and ExecutionA' . Oversee the client website including managing content, SEO optimizations, effective user-experience, and ADA complianceA' . Create dashboards and reports using Google Analytics to inform website optimizationsA' . Monitor performance and optimize digital marketing tactics through A/B testing utilizing tools like HotJar, etc. to generate qualified prospective student leadsA' . Lead our automated email marketing strategy and execution using our marketing automation platform, MarketoA' . Serve as main point of contact with the Chief Digital Officer and Digital Team for all website activity and issuesA' . Partner with all relevant stakeholders across the organization to meet project deadlines and deliverablesA' . In coordination with the Front-end Developer, perform Site Improve scans and updates to ensure client website and microsites are ADA compliantA' . Liaise with advertising agencies and search agencies and provide clear direction to create and implement lead generation campaignsA' . Manage day-to-day digital marketing tactics and workflowA' . In coordination with the Senior Content Strategist, oversee all of the content for digital assets (eg, banner ad creative, email templates, landing pages, etc.)A' . Manage content and website staff (five fulltime employees)QualificationsA' . Master's degreeA' . 6+ years of professional marketing experience including digital advertising, email marketing, website management, and/or brand managementA' . Working knowledge of HTMLA' . Ability to lead IA improvement efforts including using data to guide solutions for content structure, site maps, and taxonomyA' . Must be able to leverage UX and Analytics findings to validate and iterate on your team's solutionsA' . Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics (certification preferred) to inform lead generation strategy including proficient use of Google Tag ManagerA' . Experience using a marketing automation platform including understanding best practices and lead gen strategiesA' . Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a dynamic and fast paced environmentA' . Possess both a strategic and production mindsetA' . Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and possess excellent customer service skillsA' . Higher education experience a plusKey Skill set:Overview: A' . This role is focused on ensuring the website is up to date, ADA compliant and producing appropriate traffic levels in addition to email campaigns using Marketo. A' . The position manages three FTE staff: the Senior Content Strategist, a front end developer (UX, testing, etc.) & Digital Marketing Coordinator. A' . Must have a working knowledge of HTML, and be well versed with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, a marketing automation system (Marketo) and digital analytics/reporting in addition to supervising. A' . Need to be both strategic and production oriented, a problem-solver. A' . Able work in a fast-paced environment, pivot quickly between tasks, and capable of managing multiple personalities. A' . The assignment is for a permanent FTE.A' . We/'re seeking candidates with Master/'s degrees (MBA or equivalent)A' . Yes, candidate will be using our project management software (Asana) every day. Also our CMS for our website (django), our A/B testing tool (HotJar), and our marketing automation system (Marketo). They will also be using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and likely Photoshelter for our image assets. Our team uses the google suite - gchat, google sheets and docs, etc.A' .
