Join our team.About The RoleThis role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in driving the success of the Franchise & Strategic Alliances team within Gap, Inc. The candidate will play an integral role in supporting the growth of the Franchise business through financial analysis, corporate forecasting, and budget management. The candidate can expect to support the deliverables of the pricing team and should have a strong financial and strategic background.Within the first six months, the candidate can expect to build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners, engage and grow confidence in the pricing models, sales and margin forecasting and new business development. Once in role for 12 months, the candidate can expect to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the global business and market financial processes, drive efficiencies and profitability across the international business unit, and fully anticipate needs regarding content, timing and results with partners and processes.This role is based out of the New York office. Currently, job duties are being performed remotely. However, the Company may in the future require you/this role to be in the office on a full-time or part-time basis. Pursuant to Gap Inc.'s policy, all employees who wish to enter Gap Inc.'s San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Albuquerque office buildings will need to be vaccinated, unless an exemption from the vaccine requirement is approved due to an accommodation for a disability or for a sincerely held religious belief.Job Description: Supports strategic pricing deliverables with aim of driving margin and revenue, through analysis and strategic pricing decisions, while ensuring the commercial needs of the International Accounts are consideredPlays an integral role in the monthly corporate forecasting of revenue and marginDevelops quarterly pricing models for all brands and accounts, forecasting inputs and delivering to budgetWorks closely with cross-functional teams to support financials of new business development and brand expansion with existing accounts through financial analysis and P&L scenarios to align on commercial terms Work cross-functionally to manage P&L impact of pricing decisions and can provide modeling of P&L scenariosPresents analysis to external accounts and internal cross-functional teamsAdditional Job Description: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred2-3 years of Finance experience; International or Franchise retail experience preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; can synthesize financial data and strategic objectives into clear business recommendations Ability to gather, manipulate, and interpret data, predict trends, and establish prioritiesStrong verbal and written communicationComputer skills Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Web based applicationsAbility to deal with dynamic work environment and be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing global retail marketplace
