Our Lady of Grace Preschool, located in Parkton, Maryland, is seekingA' a Preschool Director.A' Our goal is to be a joyful center of the New Evangelization that promotes active and engaged learning through faith, discovery, collaboration, and service.Job Responsibilities:Develop an age-appropriate, state approved curriculum that balances structured and unstructured activities and meets diocesan guidelinesEncourage, inspire and nurture preschool children to experience God's love and the wonder of creation as a beginning of their Catholic faith journeyManage all financial operations of the preschool, including developing and adhering to an annual budgetLead all aspects of preschool decision-making process, including implementation of policies, curriculum, recruitment, hiring and enrollmentRecruit, supervise, mentor and coach staff members and ensure curriculum is administered and developed successfullyEnsure all health, safety, child protection and licensure policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to consistentlyQualifications:Must be an active practicing Catholic able to participate in parish lifeAttained 45 hours child development and 45 hours curriculum planning course work or the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition or a teaching certificate from MSDE or another state in Early Childhood EducationCompleted 45 clock hours of MSDE Administrative TrainingA' Completed 3 clock hours of ADA compliance course workThree or more years of full-time teaching experience in an accredited early childhood teaching settingExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to foster a child-centered approach to preschool administrationExperience with preschool formation and program implementation is preferredrecblid upfmu5kaplh8868v6xt5rpu8cvx4dh
