ARR grew from $3m in 2020 to $15m in 2021 and they're on track to treble revenue this year.The business offers a robust economic platform that helps businesses of any size use their software to accept online payments from any part of the world. They offer seamless global transactions securely since they adhere to the global regulatory uncertainty and have a close partnership with certain giants of the Tech industry. They are looking for an individual that knows how to build out a best-in-class accounting function, ideally with experience in start-ups.The RoleThis position will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and will be working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading on accounting operations within the finance function and building out a high performing team. This role will suit an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail that wants to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to commercial finance.Duties:A' . Lead the accounting operations of the businessA' . Work closely with the Senior leadership team to prepare and present financialsA' . Ensure that the company accounts are closed in a timely fashion and in accordance with GAAPA' . Implement and maintain robust reporting and controls processesA' . Assisting with financial reports, including annual / monthly budgeting and financial planningA' . Preparing the business for audit and liaising with external partiesA' . Oversee the whole month-end process including the AP/AR functionA' . Consistently looking for ways to improve and streamline processesA' . Building out the finance function from a technical accounting perspectiveA' . Management of ASC 606 revenue recognition, working with sales legal and operationsA' . Training, development and mentoring of finance professionalsWhat you needA' . Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceA' . 5+ years of experience in a general accounting functionA' . Excellent knowledge of GAAPA' . Managerial experienceA' . Acute eye for detail and high working standardsA' . Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial reportingA' .
