Job Title: Network Technician Location: Client Site - Washington, DC (On-site) Type: Full-Time Compensation: $40,000 to $50,000 Annually + Benefits Cloudforce is looking to hire a Network Technician, who will work directly with a high-value company client. In this role, the Technician will have the opportunity to work with a team that will be implementing an entirely new network design to support their enterprise. This position is ideal for someone looking to learn and gain more experience with networking. You Will: Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, primarily Cisco-based equipment Install hardware and configure various network devices and services Conduct system upgrades and network maintenance Evaluate and recommend hardware and software for potential use in client's network environment Provide Tier-1 support and troubleshooting Contribute to enterprise-wide network migration projects, with guidance from the team leader Stay informed and knowledgeable about new and existing network technologies, both physical and virtual You Have: Previous experience as a Network Technician, Computer Technician, or other relevant position Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks Familiarity with network services and protocols Familiarity with standard network equipment, such as switches, firewalls, and routers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detailYou Might Also Have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Experience or relevant certifications with Cisco equipment and software (such as Cisco ISE) Hands-on experience working with wireless technology and hardware About Us: Cloudforce is a spirited team defined by the shared values of excellence, growth, teamwork, passion, giving back, and glee.
