We continue to aggressively work to minimize the risks of the COVID-19 virus for residents and associates in our communities.As the Senior Financial Analyst at Asbury Communities you will be responsible for providing key financial analysis and forecasts for existing and potential new business lines under the Asbury umbrella.Responsibilities:Maintains and support budget and forecast processes including scheduling, analyzing, development in Workday/Adaptive Planning applications.Develops and utilizes spreadsheets and other applications as necessary to analyze financial data, key metrics, identify trends, and develop forecasts.Coordinates the company's financial business scenario analysis including sensitivity analyses , pro-forma financial modeling for various business scenarios and project opportunities.Assures changes are made in all documents and information is accurate and consistent throughout.Leads or provides assistance, as requested, for data requests.Develops and maintains ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed. Evaluates profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization.Requirements:7 years of financial analysis, financial modeling, and budget preparation with demonstrated career/responsibility growth.Senior Living or Health Care experience requiredKnowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning software or other budgeting/forecasting software preferred.3 years public accounting preferred.CPA preferred.Knowledge of preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including Balance Sheet, Operating Statement and Statement of Cash Flows.Proficiency and efficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis on Excel required.Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Specific Requirements:Must possess a strong aptitude for working with numbers and analyzing dataMust possess strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projectsMust be able to complete projects timely and accuratelyMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel and the general public.Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position, including possible frequent interruptions during the work day.Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.Must be able to safely operate equipment necessary for position.
