Description of Position: HR Program Managers provide vital support to the overall mission and employees of the NSA by providing front-line HR services. As an HR Program Manager, you will be part of a team that provides HR-related program management, to include partnering with an array of organizations in coordinating/developing programs and providing guidance on HR. In addition, you will actively engage with customer organizations in delivering training and briefings as new HR programs, policies, and procedures are implemented. Responsibilities of an HR Program Manager may include, but are not limited to: * Negotiating and executing funding * Establishing and tracking program schedules * Managing contracts * Retrieving, compiling and analyzing program data * Identifying and implementing process efficienciesThe ideal candidate is someone with excellent customer service, interpersonal, and strong oral and written communications skills, who is: * motivated * a self-starter * innovative * forward-leaning * can work effectively independently and in a team setting * well-organized * able to handle multiple assignments*The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Degree must be in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, Business Management, or an HR-related field (eg Personnel Counseling Services, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, I-O Psychology, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or Human Resources Management). At the Bachelor's level, may also be in a related field (eg, psychology, sociology, counseling). Entry/Developmental: Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Relevant experience must be in the coordination of people, projects, and events and/or performing HR activities (eg, human capital, health/benefits, retirement, and recruitment). Full Performance: Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Relevant experience must be in program/project management, preferably with HR programs, and/or performing HR activities (eg, human capital, health/benefits, retirement, and recruitment).Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position.
