Overview: The Program Analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in End User Hardware and Software for the USMC and assist in aligning goals with the Department of the Navy (DoN) and Department of Defense (DoD). The Analyst will be working closely with the DoN Technical Directors office to present information to senior leadership regarding the USMC's End User status and future technical road map. Responsibilities: The Analyst should have a good working understanding of Enterprise End User hardware and software to include Mobility devices, Tablets, Laptops, Desktops, Printers, and peripheral devices. They will be expected to track vendor model life cycles and keep the USMC leadership up to date on changes. They should also enjoy reviewing hardware and software industry trends in maintaining a modern USMC workforce. They will also need to know and understand the Windows OS (Win10 and Win11) along with Microsoft Office products for the end user. Knowledge of the Microsoft M365 suite and Azure services is a plus. Regular vendor interaction is an essential part of this position with detailed and frequent technical discussions.The Analyst should be proficient in writing and presentations with the ability to offer evidence of this during an interview. The position requires above average writing and communications skills which will be used on a daily basis in this role. The Analyst will be creating PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams and Excel data tables for presentation to leadership on a regular basis. They will also be working with the DoN Technical Directors office to integrate the USMC data for presentations to DoN and DoD audiences. Attention to detail is required. Qualifications: Masters degree with 3 (or more) years of experience or a Bachelors degree with 7 (or more) years of experience or High School Diploma with 10 years (or more) experience in IT Services and Architecture with a focus on End User components. Above average communications skills focusing on writing and data presentation are required. Ability to work independently after receiving guidance from leadership and collaborate well with others including senior leadership. US Citizen with an Active Security Clearance for Secret or better. Possess a current Security Certification that meets the DoD 8570.01m requirements IAT Level II (or be able to obtain 8570-01m certification in the first 90 days of employment). Ability to travel with notice for meetings and conferences.
