Precision Strategies, a leading digital, data, and communications firm, is looking for an Associate Vice President, Design to join our Creative Team in our Washington, DC office. The Creative Team at Precision is made up of visual problem solvers that build strong, successful content using dynamic storytelling and unique approaches to engage, inspire and move people to action. The AVP, Design will work with the team to produce design materials for clients ranging from nonprofits and advocacy groups to media start-ups and industry leaders. The primary responsibilities of the AVP, Design include but are not limited to: Developing innovative creative plans and content for clients, across existing and emerging digital platforms. Working closely with Creative SVPs in setting up realistic production timelines for quality creative deliverables the Creative team can uphold. Partnering with team leads to manage scope and identify design opportunities Overseeing the successful creation and deployment of deliverables for clients. Representing our design work to clients, from pitching to presenting concepts to executing and delivering final products. Managing several different projects using our project management system from concept to execution, maintaining high-quality output, and progress to strategic goals Providing input on creative strategy and programming for new business proposals. Our ideal candidate will have the following requirements: 7+ years of direct graphic design experience at a digital creative agency or similar; illustration skills a plus but not required 2+ years of direct experience managing junior to mid-level designers An accessible online portfolio with relevant samples of current or past work. Applicants without accessible online portfolios will not be considered. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects); Figma or AdobeXD a plus but not required A passion for hands-on creative development and execution (ie. digital ads, branding, infographics, UI designs, motion graphics, etc.) Experience working with common project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. Excellent communication and organizational skills The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial spirit.
