About the role As a Corporate Attorney - Derivatives and Structured Products, you will apply your experience and advanced degree education to provide expert-level support on derivatives and other structured products under only general supervision. The Attorney is fee earning and works on client matters. Please note the Attorney is not part of the Associate population or on the Partner track. Other key responsibilities include: Preparing and negotiating ISDA documentation; knowledge of interest rate, foreign exchange, TRS, and commodity products is helpful Assisting with repurchase trading documentation, including under the MRA, GMRA, MSLA, MSFTAs, and other bespoke repo transactions Organizing and maintaining active project lists and precedent database Preparing closing checklists, coordinating closings, preparing signature pages, and following up on post-closing items Supporting Capital Markets, Private Equity, Project Finance, and M&A matters About you We'd love to hear from you if you: Possess working knowledge of the ISDA Master Agreement and other relevant trading documentation Demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills Display excellent leadership skills (eg, organizing, planning, problem-solving and decision-making, commitment to diversity) And have: A Bachelor's degree and JD degree Admission and good standing with the local Bar and eligible admission to the US bar in states which Latham has office.
