About the role As a Knowledge Management Lawyer - Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits, you will be responsible for managing the creation, organization and delivery of knowledge assets for the ECEB practice, helping attorneys to work at the highest level and to avoid situations where they are "re-inventing the wheel". Other key responsibilities include: Coordinating with the ECEB Practice Chair and with assistance from other attorneys in the practice group, drafting and maintaining standard forms and templates, supplementary provisions, checklists and other knowledge resources for the ECEB team Monitoring current legal, market and industry developments that are most relevant to the ECEB practice and informing attorneys of such developments through emails, bulletins, training or other appropriate means Preparing client alerts and thought leadership materials for clients regarding legal, market and industry developments (including in pitches, newsletters, client presentations and blog posts) Managing a public company information database for the firm's public company and private equity / venture capital clients Developing and assisting with internal training programs and materials, particularly "bootcamp" series of trainings for junior associates, as well as more general training on the team's knowledge resources About you We'd love to hear from you if you: Have a superior ability to solve problems and roadblocks relating to both technical issues and situations involving the coordination of attorneys, non-attorney staff, and different administrative departments Are client-focused. Highly responsive Are strategic, pro-active and able to work independently on projects of significant complexity And have a: JD or equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years relevant law firm post qualification experience as a practicing lawyer in a leading law firm, focused on ECEB.
