With over 13,000 video systems under management worldwide - more than any other video communications service provider - Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications.Yorktel is currently seeking an The Instructional Designer Specialist III who will assist the client in the development of online training content by conducting research on training needs, understanding the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements for Leadership training, making recommendations, developing training content and presenting findings to client team members and executives. The Instructional Design Specialist III skillsets may be more specifically defined at the task order level to include developing and conducting training needs surveys, analyzing results, identifying training needs, and developing and creating necessary eLearning training via client supplied software to meet those needs. In addition, they will design and develop guidelines, behavioral objectives, instructional methods, course materials, and training aids.Required ExperienceThe Instructional Designer Specialist III shall be:Excellent documentation, communication, teamwork, project management, and organizational skillsExperience in developing course outlines and objectivesExperience in writing course content for audio and video presentationsExperience in developing script scenarios for soft skills and other training scenariosExperience in working with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create training modules/lessons and submit finished projects for final reviewA keen attention to detailExperience creating detailed reports and conducting multi-media presentationsExperience working in a studio environment to produce audiovisual training contentExperience in accessibility and usabilityKnowledge of instructional design models, strategies, and best practicesKnowledge and understanding of the Office of Personnel Management requirements for Leadership trainingBasic knowledge of streaming audio and video, file types and formats, and experience with online eLearning softwareProficiency using current editions of industry standard and client provided eLearning applications and platforms (currently Articulate Studio and Articulate Storyline), and learning management systems Duties And ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and prioritizes training needsDevelops course outline and objectivesDesigns and develops course contentDesigns and develops storyboards and interaction models for simulationsWrites scripts for audio and video presentationsDesigns and develops script scenarios for soft skills and other trainingDesigns and develops training content in an eLearning platformCreates 508 accessible training with high usability in eLearning platformsCreates branching models for multiple outcome training modulesInteracts with SMEs to create training modules and submit finished projects for reviewCollaborates with client staff on Instructional Design issues and methodology Skills And Additional QualificationsThe Instructional Designer Specialist III shall meet one of the following minimum requirements:Have 8 years' experience in eLearning Instructional Design or related fieldHave a Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field Join us and you will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package, including 401k and Flex 125 plans.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
