Manager, Cloud Engineering and DevOps Veritas Partners has an immediate need for a Manager of Cloud Engineering and DevOps to join our team in a REMOTE capacity with THE Broadcasting and Digital Media company! We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manager, Cloud Engineering to join the Corporate Information Technology Department. The individual will develop, integrate, and support key Enterprise infrastructure solutions.Responsibilities:Manage, mentor, train, and provide guidance to team of Cloud and DevOps engineersUtilize Agile methodologies to drive execution and increase velocity of Cloud and DevOps tooling and automation projectsLead programs to develop, maintain, and govern Continuous Integration and Delivery capabilities across the enterpriseCollaborate with other internal teams and third-party vendors to define best-in-class solutionsDevelop, socialize, and communicate IT Cloud platform standards.Define and proactively monitor KPIs and address areas of improvement for public, private and hybrid cloud solutionsProvide technical guidance on Cloud and DevOps Engineering initiativesHold bi-weekly metrics reviews reporting up the most important metrics, creating and executing action plans to address key findings.Collaborate with Systems and Network Engineering teams to establish and expand metrics and reporting, fostering partnerships for combined deliverablesDevelop and enforce standards across engineering teams to ensure compliance with organization practices such as infrastructure as code or unified authentication Qualifications:5+ years of experience in a technical leadership position at lead or manager level15+ years of experience in IT engineering7+ years of experience directly administering and supporting cloud solutions7+ years of experience with scripting and IT process automation - PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, JSON, Jenkins, etc.Experience leading and managing a DevOps product or Engineering teamExperience in the architecture, engineering, and operation of containerization and virtualization technologiesUnderstanding of industry best practices surrounding proper maintenance and support of a 24x7 cloud infrastructure - Service/Server hardening, service/server tuning, vulnerability and patch managementDemonstrable implementation of infrastructure lifecycles including planning, budgeting, forecasting, ordering, implementation, and tracking of projects/assets deploymentExperience supporting and managing private, public and hybrid cloud solutionsExperience working within an Agile/SAFe frameworkStrong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-makingStrong presentation skills with deep experience in data usage both in excel and other dash-boarding platformsStrong leadership skillsAbility to quickly grasp technical issues and offer solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutgoing and enthusiastic personalityProfessional business demeanorCustomer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clientsCloud Certification required (AWS, GCP, Azure)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experienceImmediate authorization to work in the US
