OverviewThe Digital Marketing Manager builds, manages, implements and analyzes successful digital marketing campaigns for the company. The Digital Marketing Manager executes digital marketing programs that drive conversions and exceed goals for online and off line sales, leads and other company objectives. Collaborates on the team and builds good working relationships with multiple internal departments. The Digital Marketing Manager develops a strong understanding of Connection's vendor business goals/needs in order to create engaging and effective digital marketing campaigns for the Marketing, Ecommerce, and Product Management teams.Responsibilities Works to implement the strategies developed in the digital project planning phases - working collaboratively with internal teams as well as external vendors Monitors, and is responsible for, the digital projects from planning through analysis - Point of contact for questions (ie direction for copywriting), review Creative submissions, etc. Incorporates the planning details into associated tasks, which are done to complete the project. Leverages expertise in the company to execute projects - Copy, Design, SEO, UX/UI, etc. Promotes the digital projects via appropriate external marketing channels (Paid Search, Google Display Network, Email, ABM and other online ads, etc.) and via internal mechanisms (web banners, landing pages, etc.). As a digital marketing subject matter expert within the organization, works with company stakeholders to strategize the optimal promotion for the digital components of stakeholder projects as well as contributes to the planning of Ecommerce-driven projects. Required Competencies Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel with ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, including v-lookup, and pivot tables Working knowledge of internal web-based tools such as Sitecore, Endeca, JDE, Riversand and others. Previous use of digital marketing tools such as Google AdWords, Pardot, IBM Analytics, and Google Analytics. Working knowledge of website architecture and web development skills, including HTML/CSS and CMS systems, with ability to engage with the development team. Detailed knowledge of online digital marketing channels, best practices, and optimization techniques. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to monitor campaign and merchandising performance, diagnosing issues and identifying opportunities (Google Analytics; IBM Digital Analytics preferred)
